Wildwood Subdivision was developed on June 15, 1929 by Lorraine M. O'Rourke and her late husband. Few are the places left in this world that we can model to suit ourselves, but Wildwood is such a place. It has been preserved as it was in early times except for more residential homes being built on the large, wooded lots. Wildwood consists of three hundred acres and more of virtually untouched woodland, its half-mile of association beach and its own common area of Wildwood recreation field and woods.
